Meet Joan

Joan is a cheerful 7.5-month-old girl from Jordan with a complex heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot; a combination of four heart defects, which all needed to be repaired at once, if possible. Joan had a successful heart surgery during the International Heart Month in Jordan by our skilled surgeon, who was able to repair her heart valve instead of replacing it, saving her a second surgery in the future. Joan is now enjoying her normal and healthy childhood.
